Aguila dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to El Rapido's 42. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Cuban Oreste Torres (204-87) who scored 27 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Brayan Garcia (194-98) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Aguila players scored in double figures. American Reggie Baker (193-93, college: BCU) produced 26 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and Venezuelan forward Darwin Jaramillo (192-86) added 19 points and 15 rebounds respectively for the hosts.

Santa Ana - Fantasmas 108-96

Santa Ana dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Fantasmas' 46 and made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Santa Ana players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Fantasmas were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Maurice Taylor (198-94, college: Niagara) notched a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 23 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the effort and American-Jamaican David Haye (190-94, college: SUNY Delhi) supported him with 38 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Taylor is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Santa Ana's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 31 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists by American guard Randy Bell (193-98, college: Dalton St.) did not help to save the game for Fantasmas. His fellow American import guard Sameen Swint (193, college: GBC) added 27 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

The best player for the winners was Guyanese-American center Anthony Moe (206-90, college: Millersville) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Chris Blake (195-88, college: Detroit) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Brujos' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American center DAndre Downey (206, college: William Penn) produced a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and American swingman Zekiah Owens (197-98, college: AIC) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

American-Puerto Rican guard Brian Vasquez (190-94) scored 42 points (!!!) to lead the charge for the winners and Vincentian center Akeme Smart (218-91, college: McCook CC) chipped in 9 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest. Santa Tecla's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dominican guard Bernardo Polanco (189-94) responded with 35 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and Puerto Rican power forward Owens Perez (206-92) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 17 rebounds. Four San Salvador players scored in double figures.
